2nd International Conference on Abrasive Processes

The themes of ICAP-2014 will be the degradation of engineering surfaces, both monolithic and coated, by interactions with hard particles through both abrasion and erosion and the exploitation of these processes in the manufacture of engineering components.  Abstracts on all the above topics are invited and information on how to submit an abstract can be found on the website.

We are delighted that Keynote speakers will include Professor Margaret Stack, University of Strathclyde,  Professor Jan Spelt, University of Toronto, Prof Dr Ing Eckart Uhlmann, TU Berlin and Professor John Nicholls, Cranfield University.  Further details on the programme will be sent in due course.

KEY DATES:

  • 28 February 2014 - Submission of an abstract for oral presentation
  • April 2014 - Notification of acceptance - April 2014
  • 1 August 2014 - Submission of an abstract for poster session
