The Earth is the only planet known to us so far, which provides the conducive environment for any form of life. The question of climate change and global warming concerns all of us as it is directly related to the very existence of life on this planet. The talk will start with a back ground followed by some of the existing and upcoming ideas including the use of enabling quantum technologies in order to deal with the issue. The central question is: what are the simple ideas (physics or otherwise) that we can use in order to build a better future?
