Emerging and future potential of primary, secondary and passive techniques utilised by satellites for the live tracking of ships, submarines and aircraft. How low-cost synthetic aperture RADAR’s, high-resolution optical instruments and the emerging developments in GNSS reflectometry feature in complementing the existing spaceborne capabilities in tracking application and search & rescue operations.

Refreshments are served from 6pm on the day of the lecture for a 6.30pm start. While these lectures are free to attend, please register online.
