This talk is part of the Manchester Science Festival. UCLan’s Allied Health Research Unit has been working alongside clinicians on a wide range of research projects aimed at developing new techniques in the assessment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
The team have worked with the manufacturers of specialist rehabilitation, conducting independent biomechanical and clinical testing to investigate and scientifically test manufacturers’ product claims. This talk will show how Biomechanics can be used to develop and assess sport and sports rehabilitation equipment. We will show some of the latest developments at UCLan with a mixture of demonstrations and presentations.
Talks start at 18.30 with tea and coffee available from 18.00. All are welcome and all our talks are free to attend.
