The October IoP South Central Branch talk brings Dr Radmila Topalovic, Programme Leader for Science and Engineering at Kaplan International College to talk about CSI in space...

Radmila will be talking about the importance of spectroscopy in astronomy and how it has helped us in our understanding of the nature of the Universe – including the search for life elsewhere. Radmila studied for her PhD in Astrochemistry at the University of Nottingham during which she used the night sky as her own stellar laboratory to look for large organic molecules in stardust which may help to explain the origins of life here on Earth.

This event is free to attend and registration is not required - just come along.
