Science teachers from Schools within reach of Dorchester are invited to attend this special INSET event at the Thomas Hardye School, DT1 2ET

This is the first of a series of sessions available through the Stimulating Physics Network Programme, hosted by the School in their new role as Stimulating Physics Network Link School.

This FREE TO ATTEND INSET EVENT is led by Trevor Plant, Teaching and Learning Coach for the Stimulating Physics Network.

The session will be hands-on and will explore ways of teaching the new KS3 physics curriculum.

We will focus on:
•       Energy - the new approach using starting
           and finishing points
•       Waves - superposition
       -  specular and diffuse reflection
       -  differential colour effects
•       Current electricity
       -  models to support current flow
      -  motor effect
•       Other topics that you raise prior to or on the day

Please spread the word – we are hoping for a good turn-out of teachers to attend this brand new CPD opportunity together with our team of physics teachers. This will be the first of a series of training opportunities which participants can help to develop.
