In the 17th century a supernova exploded in the constellation of Cassiopeia but astronomers never saw the explosion. There is a 300 year mystery as to why Cassiopeia A was never seen, until now. An astronomer and historian have uncovered evidence that shows that Cassiopeia A was in fact seen.
