The word plasma is often coupled with the words blood or fusion. In this talk I want to introduce technological plasmas. These plasmas operate at atmospheric pressure and room-temperature and are used in many different applications. For example, they can be used for biological applications, such as wound healing and sterilization, surface modification and surface analysis.
