Devices for Dignity (D4D) is a national research programme driven by the core aim of maintaining people's independence and dignity. It works with patients, carers and the public, focussing on innovative technology solutions. Critical to D4D's approach is the collaboration between industry, academia and healthcare, bringing together engineers, designers, material scientists and others with users so enabling a holistic approach to problem solving.
