On 21 April the Institute of Physics will be hosting its first ever one day careers conference for physics students in Wales. The event is being held at the Singleton Campus in Swansea. It is will be completely free for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Wales, and we will provide transport for students attending from Cardiff or Aberystwyth Universities.

The event will include talks from physics graduates in industry, research and education and physics employers will be in attendance to talk to you about opportunities with them.

We will provide food and there will even be a free drinks reception at the end of the day to give you all a chance to network informally with each other and with employers.

The day will run from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Spaces are limited so please register below so that we know you are coming!

If you are travelling from Aberystwyth, the coach will be leaving at 7am and dropping you off around 7pm. Collection is from between Edward Llwyd Building and Physical Science Building on the main campus.

If you are travelling from Cardiff, the coaches will be picking up from outside the student union on Park Place (that's opposite Main Building) at 8:15am and dropping you off in the same place around 6pm.

We understand these are early starts for a Saturday so there will be tea, coffee, pastries and fruit when you arrive!
