This meeting will bring together the gravitational wave and gravitational lensing communities to discuss issues at the interface of these two fields of study. The main focus of the meeting is on how both strong and weak gravitational lensing will complicate the interpretation of gravitational waves detected with ground-based laser interferometers and LISA.
The meeting will be structured around a small number of invited talks and will provide considerable time for discussion. There will also be a poster session with contributed abstracts. Postgraduate and postdoctoral scientists working in both fields are particularly encouraged to attend and to take advantage of the poster session to present their work.
