High School for Girls, Denmark Rd, Gloucester, GL1 3JN

The numbers of girls choosing physics post-16 remains stubbornly low. This hands-on workshop explores some ways of getting girls to feel more engaged with the subject and see its relevance to their lives and their futures. It includes how to provide careers support and ideas for new contexts for KS3 and 4 lessons. A pack of resources, ideas and support will be available to take away at the end of the workshop.
