The Environmental Physics Group Annual Conference Day will be held in Edinburgh this year, with a theme of Copernicus. Copernicus is the world's largest single earth observation programme and directed by the European Commission in partnership with the European Space Agency. The Sentinel suite of satellites provide a wide range of earth observation data, from land monitoring to sea and atmospheric monitoring. There are an extensive range of applications for this data, from climate modelling to farming. This half day event will celebrate the wide range of these applications, with special interest from studies conducted by early career scientists. The day will also include a review of the annual essay competition, with presentation of prizes for the winners.
