Professor Frenk is one of the originators of the "Cold dark matter" theory for the formation of galaxies and has appeared on numerous TV programmes. He is one of the top twenty most cited authors in the world on Space Sciences and Astronomy and will discuss recent ideas  in cosmology regarding the nature of dark matter and dark energy and the process which gave rise to galaxies and other cosmic structures.
