A lecture from Dr Michael Ries and Dr Leah-Nani Alconcel suitable for KS4/5 pupils. Tickets cost £2.50.
Dr Michael Ries from University of Leeds will explain why there’s more to polymers than plastic bags, taking you on a jouney from pre-historic life to fast moving fleas with the odd load of slime thrown in for good measure.
Dr Leah-Nani Alconcel from Imperial College London will explore the wonders of the sixth planet in our solar system and find out whether one of Saturn’s 60 moons could support life.
