This lecture will outline the latest technologies and techniques available for assessing human performance with a focus on Gait Analysis. Whilst highlighting the basic concepts which underpin the measurement of movements within the human musculoskeletal system, the lecture will touch on mathematical and numerical modelling relating to biomechanics and gait analysis. In addition to this, Nachi will draw on his experience within clinical and sports biomechanics and underline the usefulness and applications of physics and engineering in clinical diagnosis and intervention along with improving human performance.
Talks start at 18.30 with tea and coffee available from 18.00. All are welcome and all our talks are free to attend.
