Have you been asked to teach forces in a GSCE Science, Additional Science or Physics course, but do not feel comfortable / familiar with how to teach this area? Do you have lots of different equipment for measuring movement but are not sure how to use it?

This course will cover the teaching of GCSE Physics Forces topics.  It will explore experimental work in the following topics:

ƒƒ A variety of methods of measuring the motion of accelerating objects
ƒƒ Force representation
ƒƒ Newton’s Laws of Motion
ƒƒ The addition of forces
ƒƒ Falling objects and terminal velocity
ƒƒ Projectiles
ƒƒ Centre of masses and the law of moments
