A one day workshop jointly organised by the Energy and Advanced Molecular Materials Research Priority Areas (RPAs) of the University of Nottingham and the IOP Thin Films and Surfaces Group. The event includes invited talks from the MAX-IV synchrotron radiation facility in Sweden and representatives from high-pressure XPS facilities in the UK.
The workshop includes a sandpit session in which delegates will explore the applications of HP-XPS to energy-related surfaces, materials and devices such as fuel cells, gas separation and storage, water splitting, photovoltaics and catalysis. Experiment time on the future ERA-HP-XPS system at Nottingham will be awarded as a prize for the highest ranked ideas.
The event is free to attend but registration is essential as places are limited, please register via the website.
