'The IOP Printing and Graphics Science Group annual Student Conference is a day-long forum where recent work in the group’s subject areas is presented. This year the conference is hosted by the University of Cambridge.
Presentations are sought at postgraduate level on any subject related to printing and graphics technology and science. Potential topics could include, but are not restricted to, printing technologies, the physics in graphics arts technologies, packaging and papermaking, or newer areas such as displays, lighting and printed electronics.
The conference is an opportunity for students to meet others from around the UK who are working in these fields, and to present their research. Registration, including lunch, is free and funds are available to cover basic travel expenses for speakers. To register, please email Tuuli Grohn (email@example.com) by 21st November 2011.
The Group will award two Student Presentation Prizes of £50 at the conference, one in each area: Colour and Imaging Science, and Printing Technology.
