Grahame Knott has always been fascinated by shipwrecks and he considers himself to have been lucky enough to be involved in the golden age of shipwreck discovery, certainly those discoveries that involved divers. Grahame will bring us up to date with a quick resume on how things have changed and what he is doing now along with his involvement in “The Shipwreck Project”. His talk hopes to cover a few of the wrecks off the Dorset coast, telling us stories about the wrecks, the divers and the technical advances that allowed them to push their exploration limits. Over the years Grahame and his colleagues have experienced sheer joy and total tragedy, laughing one minute and crying the next. Attendance free, non-members welcome. Refreshments from 18:30.
