Cloud chambers are a great resource to show A-level and GCSE students the paths of ionising radiation. You can use the cloud chamber to demonstrate background radiation and compare sources.  In this workshop, you will make and take away a cloud chamber big enough for a group of people to view as well as trying demonstrations using dry ice. There will also be a cloud chamber demo using a salt-ice mix, instead of dry ice.  Light refreshments and resources to take away.
