In association with the Institute of Physics, Exeter Mathematics School are inviting teachers and technicians to attend a series of five Stimulating Physics Network meetings. The twilight meetings are free to attend and will provide CPD updates in practical and theoretical physics for KS3-5, information sharing and network opportunities. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!

In this session we will pick apart some of the common misconceptions that crop up at A-level. We will look at the causes and roots of the incorrect models, how to identify students’ pattern of thinking and some techniques to correct and re-educate.
