Near-Ambient Pressure XPS represents a revolution in XPS technology, allowing investigation of surface chemistry under near-ambient pressure conditions. This is of enormous interest in fields such as catalysis, electrochemistry, corrosion and many more.

The University of Manchester houses one of only three NAP-XPS instruments in the UK (approx. 25 worldwide). The aim of this meeting is to showcase the great potential of NAP-XPS in a diverse range of applications and to learn about the state-of-the-art in this technique.
