Paul Dirac is widely regarded as the greatest English theoretical physicist since Newton. From 1925 to 1933 he made towering contributions to quantum physics, including his successful prediction of anti-matter. The speaker will review some of Dirac’s contributions and philosophy of theoretical physics, and look at his singular personality.
