The IOP Finland Chapter invite you to a seminar on current and future physics solutions for cancer detection and treatment. The speakers and topics will include:

- Dr Timo Koponen, Varian Medical Systems, on 'High energy physics saving lives - proton radiotherapy now and in the future'.

- Dr Liisa Porra, Helsinki University Hospital, on 'Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) in Finland: the past, present and future'.

- Dr Michele Siggel-King, University of Liverpool, on 'Development of Cancer Diagnostics using mid-Infrared Imaging'.

- Professor Ari Virtanen, University of Jyväskylä, on 'Radioisotope production with accelerators'.

- NN on 'PET-imaging'
