The Physics of Rock Climbing. Friction, forces, acceleration due to g, stability and centres of gravity, energy will all be considered at an afternoon workshop at The Warehouse Climbing Centre in Gloucester. There will also be an opportunity to have a go at bouldering, putting some of the theory into practice, as well as using their new Digiwall, which looks like a lot of fun!

The Warehouse is a beautiful converted Victorian warehouse in the Gloucester Docks. There’s lots of history in the area and Gloucester Cathedral is near by.

It is easily reached by coach or bus from all major routes, with a drop-off point right outside the main entrance! By foot you can easily walk to us from the City centre, Docks or Railway Station. There are plenty of Pay & Display Car Parks nearby – either the Gloucester Docks or St Michaels Square as the two closest.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Book your place here.
