Science teachers from Schools within reach of Dorchester and beyond are invited to attend this twilight session at Thomas Hardye School, DT1 2ET.
This is the second of a series of sessions available through the Stimulating Physics Network Programme, hosted by the School in their role as Stimulating Physics Network Link School.
This FREE TO ATTEND WORKSHOP SESSION is led by Trevor Plant, Teaching and Learning Coach for the Stimulating Physics Network.
We all know there are lots of things (e.g. strong magnet dropped through a Copper tube) that at first look are counter-intuitive and can be used to start discussions, questioning and further experimentation. Discuss your favourites at this session, so we can make it a true “sharing” experience.
Refreshments will be provided from 3.15pm and the event is completely free of charge.
