This event, sponsored by Iain Gray MSP, will bring together business people, policymakers and educationalists to show evidence of the importance of physics to the Scottish economy and to discuss how physics supports sustainable economic development and what the future might hold for physics-based businesses in Scotland.
Our speakers will be Stephen McGeoch, of Thales UK and chair of the Institute of Physics in Scotland and Siobhan Jordan, Director of Interface.
The presentations will be followed by a panel debate and forum discussion.
All guests should arrive at the Public Entrance on Horse Wynd where they will be registered by Visitor Services Staff. Guests should arrive in time to go through the security checks. Details are provided in the Guest Information Leaflet.
Registration on the evening for this event will open at 17:30 and will close 18:30.
