The aims of the meeting are :
- to develop a closer symbiosis between mathematicians and physicists in areas of modern multi-scale plasma dynamics
- to make progress in new algorithmic advances involving hybrid
fluid-kinetic models
- develop new perturbation techniques for ultra-relativistic plasma
systems
- to make progress in using new geometric methods for analysing highly anisotropic plasmas
- to gain a better understanding of the behaviour of diffuse plasmas
in space and the effects of their inhomogeneity
