Open Lecture by Professor Steve Lloyd of Queen Mary, University of London.
He is a member of the Particle Physics Research Centre and works on the ATLAS Experiment preparing to study proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider, LHC, at CERN Geneva.
His work on Z and W bosons let to confirmation that there are only 3 types of neutrino. At present the details of his talk are to be confirmed but may touch on the exciting new results showing that neutrinos may travel above the speed of light.
