John Lovegrove from Canary Designs Ltd will bring the discipline of Ergonomics to life by encouraging the audience to participate in an ergonomics investigation of their own.

He will use his experience to bring the ergonomics standard ISO 26800 to life by explaining its purpose, the approach and benefits to the health, well-being and safety of the work force.

Once the fundamentals of ISO 26800 have been explained, the audience will embark on their own ergonomics investigation set in the aerospace manufacturing, National Health Service and nuclear decommissioning industries. The audience will learn how to plan an ergonomics investigation, how to measure system / human performance, inclusive design principles and the implementation of a new work system. John will also provide a reading list for audience members interested in finding out more.

Come along with an open mind, some curiosity and the drive to get involved yourself in this interactive
session.
