A public lecture by Dr Kim Page from the UK Swift Science Data Centre, University of Leicester.

The Swift spacecraft was designed to detect and follow-up Gamma-Ray Bursts. Launched in November 2004, Swift has since revolutionised research into GRBs and other high-energy transients, providing a rapid follow-up capability. In this talk Dr Page will introduce Swift and present highlights from the mission.

Light refreshments will be available before the talk
