Orla Murphy, Jaguar Land Rover

People may think Engineering and Physics are about strict hard laws, rules and certainty. However, this isn't always the case and perception can influence how something is designed. Orla will be exploring concepts of perception and bias in the context of acoustics and product development. She will discuss how perception can be engineered, what unconscious bias is and what behind the scenes testing needs to be done to fully validate a new vehicle at Jaguar Land Rover.
