Typical for the Russian approach to warfare in general is to consider all combat capabilities in their close relationship. It is not surprising therefore that the electronic warfare (EW) is considered by the Russian military not as an isolated, while very useful capability, but rather as one piece of the broader array of inter-related means and tools to achieve the ultimate goal - defeat of the enemy. The lecture will show the place of the EW in the Russian military doctrine, its relation to warfare in the information domain in general, and depict current and some prospective EW capabilities and tactics the Russian military utilise.
