The purpose of this EMAG one-day meeting is to review the state-of-the-art in the quantitative interpretation of TEM image and diffraction data.
This meeting will include invited presentations from Dr Sandra Van Aert (Antwerp), Prof Angus Kirkland (Oxford), Prof Paul Midgley (Cambridge) and Prof John Rodenburg (Sheffield).
The meeting will be followed by the EMAG AGM which is open to all EMAG members.
The EMAG one-day meeting is dedicated to Professor Mike Whelan in celebration of his 80th birthday.
Immediately following the scientific part of the meeting will be two lectures highlighting the contribution of Mike Whelan from his colleagues, then a drinks reception and dinner at Linacre College, which is Mike’s Oxford College.
The registration fee for the EMAG meeting does not include the dinner or overnight accommodation, and these are organised separately by the University of Oxford and may be booked at http://www.oxforduniversitystores.co.uk/browse/product.asp?catid=1490&modid=1&compid=1
