Synopsis – Significant progress is being made on proposals for new nuclear power stations in the UK. The regulators’ have a key role In new build to ensure that any new stations would meet the high standards of safety, security, waste management and environmental protection that they expect. This talk will cover the approach that the nuclear regulators are taking, the progress made and the lessons learned so far.
The lecture is scheduled for 6.30pm with a 7.00pm start. Pre-Registration for this event is mandatory and registration will need to be closed one week before the lecture (23rd September). This event is open to all however for security reason, all attendees will be required to show photographic identification on the night of the event to be allowed on site this ideally should be either a Driver’s License or Passport.
