This meeting has been organised by Bill Metcalf.
This meeting is in two parts: a morning session devoted to the science and technology of both Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and an afternoon session devoted to a selection of application areas. The technical input is on big data, data analytics and artificial intelligence; the application areas are healthcare, pattern recognition and natural language processing. The day will conclude with a session on ethics and the societal impact of these new technologies.
