The Institute of Physics (IOP) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) invite you to join us at a reception to launch our report on "Physics and Chemistry Postdoctoral Researchers’ Experiences and Career Intentions".
The IOP jointly initiated the project with the RSC, part-funded by the UKRC's Innovative and Collaborative Grants Scheme (IGCS), to look at how the experiences of male and female postdoctoral researchers (PDRs) in the two disciplines affected their long-term career intentions and whether the experiences of men and women in the two disciplines were different. Earlier work on PhD students in chemistry had shown that men and women had different career intentions with women less inclined towards careers in scientific research.
Please note that places are limited, so please email to confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience.
