Come along and make a demonstration 'particle' accelerator that uses static electricity to make a polystyrene ball accelerate around a circular bowl. Ideal for use to illustrate larger real particle accelerators or for another interesting activity to use when teaching static. Take away you own to use and instructions to make more for yourself at school. Also some ideas for using the Van der Graaf generator and other fun things to do with static.
