Science and Stormont is designed to build closer links between the Northern Irish science and engineering community, MLAs and the Northern Ireland Executive, and is being organised, on behalf of, and in cooperation with, a number of sister organisations, including: The Royal Society, the Royal Irish Academy, the Institute of Physics, the Society of Biology, the Geological Society, the Royal Astronomical Society, the Campaign for Science and Engineering, and the Institution of Civil Engineers.
This event is being sponsored by Basil McCrea MLA, Chair of the Northern Ireland Assembly All-Party Group on Science and Technology.
The theme for the day will be Science Education in Northern Ireland.
