Bubbles, drops and films come into all branches of science, from the liquid drop model of the nuclear fission process, to cavitation in liquids, to food science, to the distribution of galaxies in the universe. Discussion of the fascinating shapes, vibrations, colours and computer applications of soap films and bubbles.
