Speakers: Dr Alexander Murphy

A diverse but consistent range of astronomical observations suggest that
the matter of the Universe is dominated by a non-baryonic component dubbed 'dark matter'.
This talk will describe the work of the ZEPLIN collaboration, searching for candidate dark matter particles in a salt and potash mine in the north east of England. The latest scientific results of the project will be presented, as well as plans for the future.
