SHIRE 2014: Symposium on Hyperspectral Imaging in Research and Engineering

Clock icon
00:00 10 Apr 2014 – 00:00 12 Apr 2014

North Campus Conference Centre and Kroto Research Institute, North Campus, University of Sheffield, Broad Lane, S3 7HQ

The aim of the workshop is to bring colleagues together who use various imaging methods (Raman, visible fluorescence, SPM, EDX/WDX in SEM, EDX/EELS in STEM...) in a number of different fields, ranging from physics over chemistry and nanotechnology to biology, to see and discuss which methods are available for hyperspectral data acquisition, processing and quantification that could be jointly applied.

In this, our workshop will concentrate on laboratory-scale applications and as such be very different from the well-known WHISPER conferences on hyperspectral imaging, which concentrate on remote sensing satellite and real-time target identification applications.

Event type: Workshop
Co-sponsored by: EMAG
