Sir Isaac Newton is sorting out his letters during the last year of his life. This dramatic reconstruction, lasting about one hour, is based entirely on authentic letters, contemporary reports and material. Sir Isaac offers thoughts on his science, his life, his lesser-known studies in alchemy and religion and the world in general.
As part of this year's Cardiff Science Festival the Institute of Physics has organised for Mike Edmunds to perform his funny, informative and moving tribute to the life of Isaac Newton at Porter's Bar in Cardiff. Mike takes on the role of Newton reading his memoirs and reflecting on the life of a man who forever changed the face of science.
This event is completely FREE, but spaces are limited. Pizza will be provided after the talk, and there will be plenty of opportunity to chat and mingle in Porter's beautiful theatre and beer garden. Porter's is easy to find, just head for the Big Sleep hotel and it's right underneath it!
