A mix of practical workshops, inspiring talks & congenial networking.

Talks will be given by Dr Andrew Steele (Famelab 2012 winner) on ‘Superconductivity: How to engineer flying trains & bottled stars’ and by “local hero” Dr Adam Hart-Davis, on'Some of My Scientific Heroes'.

Workshops will be delivered by members of the IOP Physics Teachers Network and other experienced presenters. Suitable for those new to physics as well as experienced teachers with practical ideas to use in school: ‘Science on Stage 2015’, ‘Waving not Drowning‘, ‘Twenty Dashing Demos’, ‘A Painkiller for Medical Physics’ & ‘Rocket Launcher Make & Take’.

During lunchtime there will be a variety of stalls to browse for resource ideas.
