A one day workshop consisting of three sessions of talks orientated around the themes described below. Presentations will be 25 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions. The last workshop session will be an informal discussion period to be formatted into subject areas as required depending on attendance and demand. Refreshments and a hot lunch will be provided.
This workshop is targeted at researchers within the dynamic loading and extreme conditions communities, with an interest in spatially-resolved measurements of transient phenomena. The content to be presented and discussed is suitable for new entrants to imaging velocimetry, although knowledge of the principles of VISAR would be helpful.
