St Mary’s Annual Science Lecture: Life in the Universe

There are two speakers talking about Life in the Universe:

  • ‘Life in the Universe’: Martin Griffiths (University of Glamorgan) What or who is out there? This entertaining talk explains how we are searching for aliens in the Universe and the life forms we may find
  • ‘Life, The Universe and my Sock Drawer’: Andrew Holding (Medical Research Council) How is the fate of our changing Universe linked to the mess in Andrew’s sock drawer? Expect explosions, experiments and audience participation.
Before the lectures, there is a free display of lunar rocks and meteorites in school. Suitable for pupils age 9+ and adults.
