A conference for all who teach physics, with a key note speech from Professor Lyndon Rees Evans and a selection of inspiring workshops.
The conference will begin with a talk from Prof Lyndon Rees Evans CBE FRS, director of the linear collider collaboration, entitled From the Large Hadron Collider to the next Linear Collider. Attendees will then complete three hands-on workshops full of ideas and activities to take back to the classroom. Topics include 'bringing the universe into the classroom', 'mathematics for A-level physics' and 'teaching physics in the great outdoors', among others.
