Science teachers from Schools within reach of Hedge End, near Southampton and beyond are invited to attend this afternoon session at Wildern School, SO30 4EJ
This is the first of a series of sessions available through the Stimulating Physics Network Programme, hosted by the School in their new role as Stimulating Physics Network Link School with Adviser. A programme of physics workshops will be provided to support the teaching of classically challenging physics topics which directly link to KS4 topics as well as KS3 fundamental concepts.
This first workshop will include accurate modelling of concepts, practical troubleshooting, effective use of online tools and linking the sessions directly to examination boards for immediate impact.
Would you like to be more secure in the teaching of electricity concepts at KS3 and KS4?
Would you like to boost your subject knowledge and receive practical tips to increase understanding in the teaching of voltage, potential difference and current?
This free to attend workshop is led by Lucy Wells and Ariane Gunderson, School Stimulating Physics Network Advisers.
Please spread the word – we are hoping for a good turn-out of teachers to attend this brand new CPD opportunity. This will be the first of a series of training sessions which participants can help to develop.
Refreshments will be provided from 12.45pm and the event is completely free of charge. Booking is essential by contacting Ariane Gunderson by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
