What is mass? Surprisingly we have no direct experience of it unlike weight or momentum. It turns out that mass is very different to what we usually think it is.
This talk will explain why mass is not equivalent to energy, why elementary particles are created without mass but acquire it while interacting with the environment, why Peter Higgs got his Nobel Prize and why this century could be dominated by mass manipulation technology.
